I produce my 3D models with great attention to graphics and aesthetics. But I try to limit as much as possible the size of files and the number of polygons required to achieve them. For example, my 3D characters, have an average of about 60,000 polygons.
My guidelines:
When I purchase a 3D models, one of the things that depresses me is that often I can not get what the images attached to the product seem to promise. These images are often the result of a highly professional work, and are obtained by working with several software, using very carefully the lights of the scenes, etc. etc.
All my demo, are very simple and realized with a Unity 3D default light. Show the bare minimum; it is a starting point. I tried to cure the most of textures and materials. Each 3D character has Albedo, Normal, Occlusion and Specular Map.
The Project
Since June 15, 2016 are available on Unity Asset Store five male 3D-characters, five clothes, 6 hair models and one package with 14 different prop; five female 3D-characters, seven female clothes, eight female hair models and one package with 13 different prop; one Fantasy 3D Caracter called Wonk.
Next is the turn of two characters a bit more complex (Oscar and Mrs. Jones) but I’ll talk later.
Updates
All updates are free of charge and in addition to adjustments of programming errors, contain additional morph.
